Metaverse of Magic: A World-First Interactive Spectacular Coming to Australia
Australia is set to witness a groundbreaking theatrical experience as Metaverse of Magic, the world’s first interactive magic spectacular, prepares to tour the country from November 2023. Combining breathtaking illusions, cutting-edge technology, and the brilliance of the most renowned magicians from around the globe, this magical extravaganza promises to transport audiences to a realm where imagination knows no bounds.
Produced and co-created by Suzanne Jones, the mastermind behind acclaimed live performances on Broadway and the West End, Metaverse of Magic features a star-studded lineup, including the internet sensation Ash Hodgkinson, better known as Ash Magic. With a massive online following of over 10 million on TikTok and close to 2.9 million subscribers on YouTube, Ash Magic brings his enchanting charisma to the stage, captivating fans with spellbinding tricks and illusions.
The unique aspect of Metaverse of Magic lies in its interactivity, allowing audience members to actively participate in the performance using their personal smart devices. Collaborating with the i-Gen magician Lennox and the all-knowing Game Master DIGI, attendees embark on a thrilling quest to unlock the secrets of four masters of illusion and gain access to the prestigious Inner Realm. Along the way, they can level up, earn points and rewards, and uncover the mysteries of magic – past, present, and future.
Joining Ash Magic on stage are some of the world’s most skilled magicians and entertainers, including Hara Hiroki from Tokyo, who impressed audiences on America’s Got Talent and the BBC series The Magicians, and Horret Wu, the recipient of the World Champion of Card Magic award from Taiwan. New Zealand’s Jarred Fell, Australia’s own Charli Ashby, and Sabine van Diemen from The Netherlands complete this extraordinary ensemble.
After the Australian tour, Metaverse of Magic is set to conquer international stages, with plans for performances in London’s West End, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
