Shakespeare meets election time
Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet walk into a bar… Your vote will decide whose story makes it to the stage tonight! No matter who comes out on top, we promise to bring the hijinks, dance numbers, musical interludes, audience participation, and wooden-sword-wheeling! It may not be the most important vote of 2022, but it’s sure to be the most fun!
For one night only, May 21st, the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble (QSE) are presenting Shakespeare Pick and (re)Mix: A Night of Revels! Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo, and Juliet walk into a bar, the audience’s vote will decide whose story makes it to the stage.
No matter who comes out on top we’ll all be winners with a night of hijinks, Shakespeare, dance numbers, musical interludes, audience participation, and wooden-sword-wheeling!
Featuring Core Ensemble actors from QSE this event is for Shakespeare lovers, Shakespeare loathers and everyone in between. Presented at the Loft West End audience members are invited to enjoy a drink and canapes on arrival before casting their votes by cheering, whistling, and stomping to decide which story they’ll see.
